Four players, two teams
You and your partner sit opposite each other and share your melds, your score and your Pot.
Two decks
108 cards: two full decks and four Jokers. Everyone starts with 11 cards.
Runs of one suit
Three or more cards in sequence, all of the same suit.
Sets of Aces or 3s
Only Aces and 3s can be grouped by rank. Every other card belongs in a run.
One wild card per meld
Jokers and twos can stand in for a missing card.
Seven makes a Burraco
Grow a meld to seven cards or more. With no wild card it is a clean Burraco, worth 200 points.
American Burraco follows its own clearly defined rules. For example, your team can close the round only after taking its Pot and making at least one clean Burraco. The lessons in the app explain every rule.
